In order to top up the payment on the URBANCARD, you need to come to the point of sale which offers parking fees sales (the list of points of sale can be found HERE). The minimum amount of the single card top-up is PLN 20. The maximum amount that can be encoded on the card is PLN 300. The sum loaded on the card enables you to pay for parking in the paid parking zone (in park meters).
The prices of single-trip, time-limit and seasonal tickets encoded on the URBANCARD will be changed in accordance with the table given in the “Types of tickets available at sales points” tab. So-called “additional charge ticket” will be necessary in the case of certain tickets.

In order to use the service you have to register on the following website: www.nextbike.pl (provide the required data – mobile number, accept the regulations and pay minimum of 1 PLN as the initial fee).

The owner of the card may:
- pay for shopping,
- use a cash machine,
- use public transport in Wrocław.
Municipality of Wrocław and the Mint of Poland inform that due to numerous requests of public transport passengers from 9 May 2011 all mobile ticket vending machines installed in public transport vehicles will sell not validated public transport tickets only. From 9 May the ticket purchased in a mobile ticket vending machine must be validated in a validating machine.
In reference to the untrue information published by the Wrocław edition of the daily “Fakt” on 12 April 2011 in the article “You won’t buy a ticket by mobile”, the Mint of Poland acting as a Wrocław URBANCARD system provider informs that:
- there is no problem in buying telephone tickets in Wrocław
- only from 1 March to 12 April 2011, 10,294 passengers purchased such tickets (statistics below)
- for two months, there has been information on the website www.urbancard.pl stating that the SkyCash application, which enables ticket purchase by telephone, is no longer available through downloading photocodes at the stops (the photocodes company provider terminated its business).
- the application, which enables ticket purchase by telephone can be downloaded by sending a free SMS or online (such information is given on the stickers at stops and on the website www.urbancard.pl)

We would like to inform that in order to improve use of the ticket vending machines operating in URBANCARD system, some ticket vending machines have been transferred to new locations.
Term tickets purchased for a specific line are valid in all buses and trams operating on the same routes according to a fixed schedule and a changed schedule for the time of repairs and investments works.
When purchasing a new term ticket for the routes that are temporarily suspended, chose the suspended line on which route at present operate vehicles of substitute lines.
We would like to inform that due to the software update of the ticket terminals that encode ZOO and Waterpark entrance tickets on the Wrocław URBANCARD, on 14,15 and 16 March there could appear temporary breaks in sale of the tickets.

The info action that will take place from 7 to 18 March (only weekdays) is directed to the Wrocław URBANCARD users, who use Wrocław ticket vending machines. The aim of the action is to enhance the knowledge on how to use ticket vending machines.
Under this action competent persons will help those who would like to gain information on how to use ticket vending machines. Additionally, ticket vending machine user guides will be distributed near the machines (user guides on how to purchase paper tickets and tickets encoded on URBANCARD).

From a next year, the number of points accepting applications for Wrocław URBANCARD will be reduced.
The deadline for exchange of paper term tickets into electronic has passed on 30 November 2010. However, for those who haven’t exchanged the ticket into URBANCARD yet, Wrocław City and the Mint of Poland maintain a network of 28 points that accept applications and issue cards in Bank ZachodniWBK as well as the activity of Student Service Center.
Please note that from 6 to 9 January 2011the URBANCARD Customer Service Center working hours will be changed.

Discounts at the fitness club for holders of URBANCARD – Wrocław City Card
As of 1 September 2010, traditional paper season tickets will be withdrawn. As of 1 September only electronic season tickets coded on the URBANCARD will be sold.
Paper season tickets purchased before that date remain valid until their expiry date.
Due to the considerable interest shown by Wrocław residents in the URBANCARD, the working hours of the Customer Service Centre at ul. Grabiszyńska 9 have been changed. As of today, the Centre will be open from Monday through Friday between 8.00 and 19.00 (on Saturdays the working hours remain unchanged, i.e. 8.00 -14.00).
As of 10 May 2010, the Customer Service Centre, Customer Service Desks and branches of Bank Zachodni WBK begin accepting applications for the issue of the URBANCARD (Wrocław City Card). It will also be possible to submit applications on-line.
The card will be issued within 5 working days from the application submission date.
